A full review of our Nuna Leaf swing!
The moment you get pregnant you realize there is SO MUCH GEAR out there. Like so much.
So many swings, diaper pails, bottles- it can get downright confusing.
I found reviews to be the most helpful when creating my registry so today I’m excited to be sharing my honestly impartial review of the Nuna Leaf Swing.
Full disclaimer: we bought this ourselves and it was not gifted or sponsored in any way.
Here’s a little bit about it:
SWING SPECIFICATIONS
With a gentle push, the swing will rock for around 2 minutes without the aid of batteries or plugs. There is a motor you can buy separately as well. The swing has a lock function for you want it to remain stationary.
WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Up to 130 pounds
EASY TO ASSEMBLE?
Yes super easy! There aren’t that many pieces to put together.
COLOR OPTIONS?
Yes so many! And I’m so mad that this beautiful color combo came out after we bought ours 🙂
EASY TO WASH?
Yup the lining pops right out and you can put it in the washing machine.
More important question, does Aren like it?!
He loves it! When he was a baby he would just chill on it. The Nuna swing is a manual one, meaning it doesn’t plug in anywhere. However you can buy the Leaf Wind, which acts as a motor for it !
I never had any issues with the fact that it’s manual, however the motor does come in handy if you are using it for naps.
These days I place him in it during laundry time or when I’m doing the dishes. Like most kids sometimes he doesn’t want to sit still, but he’s recently learned how to swing himself in it with his feet so that keeps him busy for a while!
WHAT DO I LOVE MOST ABOUT IT?
The selling feature for me was that it doesn’t need to be plugged in for it work. Whenever we have guests over we can easily move the swing from room to room. In the summer we even bring it out on the patio.
I also love that he is going to be able to use it for a few more years! It’s so cozy for lounging that I can totally see him cuddled up in it on a Sunday morning watching cartoons while I have a cup of hot coffee!
WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
In a heartbeat
I want to also state that we have a total of three swings. #firstitmemom over here! Guilty as charged. One very popular model at my mom’s house and then another one that we were gifted here at home. While every baby is indeed different, Aren prefers the Nuna to all three swings!
Have any questions I missed about the Nuna swing?! Feel free to ask!!
