I adore everything about the holiday entertaining- from the indulgent meals and cocktails to dressing up and all that champagne! I’m all for the traditional Christmas decor and colors, but sometimes you just need to change things up. Pink and gold are perpetually my favourite things, right? So it made sense to create a party theme revolving around just that. With a little help from some amazing vendors, this holiday party is definitely one of my favorites! Read on for all the essentials you need to pull of something similar!

Pink and Feminine Dinner Party
What you’ll need:
Flowers:
Instead of traditional holiday greens, eucalyptus is always a fresh and romantic detail. Aura Design pieced together the perfect eucalyptus runner here, adorning it with the sweetest pink roses. We used pink roses on the bar cart and the desserts as well, to tie it all together! I opted for two simple arrangements on the other tables and that was it!
Styling Tip: Eucalyptus works with any color and is a great filler, meaning you can get away with spending a little less on flowers. It’s so gorgeous though that no one will even notice! This arrangement would work with any color you would want to incorporate, from red to yellow and my second favourite, white!
Desserts:
Desserts are clearly an important part of any party, am I right?! To make these desserts holiday ready, Little Leah’s Kitchen infused the slightest hint of rosewater into everything, making it extra special. From the barrel cake to the cake bite tower, it was just perfect. My personal favourite was the cupcakes (because no one can count how many you have had- right?!).
Styling Tip: I like to break up the look of a dessert heavy table by placing some of the sweets in other corners of the room. It makes the desserts look more approachable and well, eatable! Our meringues, macarons and some cupcakes were on the main table, while the rest lay on the console.
Accent Pieces:
I always rely on HomeSense for pulling through with any last minute holiday decor I may need! From gold flutes to the sweetest little reindeer- they had everything I could want! Recent purchases that I love? Those gold chargers you’ll see in the pics, and the white cake stand that came with a glass dome. I have a feeling I’ll be using it over and over again!
Styling Tip: Sticking to metallic decor pieces is a great way to bring a cohesive feel to your dinner table, plus the pieces never go out of style! I can pretty much use the metallic accents in any corner of my house, and with any theme I may have in the coming years. It’s a great investment and will always look great, even on its own.
Something Unexpected:
You’ve got to keep it interesting, which is why I chose this perfect ALWAYSxALWAYS wrapping paper to lighten things up. It’s similar in color palette but has an unexpected and fun pattern that’s sure to be a talking point! And if you’re looking for more gorgeous palm leaf accessories, make sure to check out ALWAYSxALWAYS for the cutest ones!
A huge thanks to Inspired by This for sharing our pink party over on their site and to these lovely vendors for lending a hand!
