One of the features I’m most excited about with the new blog is this Nursery section! Over the next little while I’ll be sharing beautiful nursery inspo from some lovely mamas. We’ll be sharing both boy and girl nurseries, some lovely gender neutral ones- as well as a few cute play spaces! Stay tuned for all that is to come, but in the meantime scroll down to learn more about today’s mom, Jenna, and her baby boy Finn’s gorgeous space!
Meet Jenna:
A Florida resident, Jenna is mom to almost two year old Finn as well a brand new baby girl named Lennon. Isn’t that the cutest name? She is currently renovating her home, a 1926 build, which she shares over on her Instagram! You can find her here!
We fell in love with the pops of blue in the nursery. They weren’t overpowering and somehow managed to maintain a neutral feel all throughout the space. Something that’s hard to do if you ask me! The blue grosgrain dresser is a real stand out- that along with the stunning zebra print, one of Jenna’s favourite features! ‘The nursery isn’t too theme-y but, still feels fun! I also love the stripe curtains because it makes the room feel bigger to me. We live in a 1926 Spanish style home so the ceiling heights aren’t very high.’
Other favourite features? The floating shelves near the rocking chair, the little giraffe succulent holder and of course, those dreamy drapes. I also spotted Pottery Barn’s Belgian Flax Linens (something we have in Aren’s nursery space as well!)- they instantly add a relaxed and airy feel to any room.
We had to ask Jenna about the next nursery she is about to design for baby Lennon! “With baby # 2 comes a little less planning. Her room isn’t quite done because as I mentioned earlier we have a 1926 home and have been getting through some renovations. I am going with something neutral (again) but a little more boho/ girly!”
We can’t wait to take a peek at that room (she hinted at the new blankets by Willaby as well as a Designdua changing basket!), but in the meantime we will just keep scrolling through Finn’s sweet nursery.
Thanks Jenna for sharing your space for us!
