A closer look at one of our favourite features from Aren’s birthday party, the Aperol Spritz Bar!
It’s always important for me to have a fun feature for my guests at any party I throw! Remember this pretzel stand?! Still one of my favourite things to date!
When it came time to plan Aren’s summer birthday party, I knew all along that I wanted to have a special adults corner. You know something to make the adults happy amongst the chaos that is a kids birthday party!
Since I’m all for a yummy Aperol Spritz, I thought it would be a cute idea to have a self serve Aperol Bar!
Everything you would need to make your own perfect summer cocktail!
After DIY-ing my streamer board with crepe paper streamers from Michaels, I turned to Etsy for a fun little sign and then we were ready!
I found the acrylic signs could get a little pricy but I luckily found a shop that had amazing prices and a super speedy turnaround for product!
Here’s exactly what you will need to replicate this:
- Crepe Streamers: I liked the color selection at Michaels best
- Paper Honey Combs and Lanterns (something easy you can do a few days ahead of time!)
- A fun sign
- Oranges for garnish
- Your Aperol Spritz Ingredients: sparkling water, Aperol and Prosecco!
- Letter balloons

Hello! To be honest I just used an extra piece of sheetrock that I had in my garage 😉 it was hard enough to stand against the wall and withstand the wind but not too heavy!
