A fun and easy cocktail to put together for a crowd! This Citrus Spritz is alcoholic but can easily be made without the booze for the kiddos!
I love a good cocktail to start off a party or a gathering. Something refreshing is always a must, even in the colder months!
And I love grapefruit in drinks. Like it’s my favourite. If you don’t believe me check out this Grapefruit Paloma, or this fun version of a gin and tonic. Yup, we are grapefruit obsessed over here. I am not too keen on drinks that are too sweet so grapefruit just hits the mark for me. It has just the right amount of kick!
Add some lemonade, some flowers and a beautiful dispenser and you have yourself a party favourite, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Ps I picked up this dispenser a few years back from Crate and Barrel. At first I was slightly alarmed by the cost but it’s been such a great party addition to our kitchen. Not to mention it doesn’t leak! I don’t know how many versions of the cheaper kinds I’ve tried out and had to return… This one is a must if you ask me. Plus you can alternate the bottom part whenever you feel like you need a change!
Anyways back to drinks- yes this one is delicious! And the fact that it’s in a dispenser makes it so much easier come party time. Just set it up and have the guests do the work!
I’d suggest adding the ice in increments as your guests come, or better yet, freezing the grapefruit slices ahead of time so that they actually act like ice cubes for you, but don’t dilute the taste!
