I’m so happy that you have stumbled upon my little chapter of the internet.
For the new faces out there, Hi! I’m Gigi. I am a 30 something (ok 34!) year old Boston native currently living in Montreal, Canada.
I’ve been married for over 6 years (yikes!) and I recently became a new mama. I have an almost 9 month old baby boy named Aren who is all kinds of adorable mixed in with all kinds of trouble!

What can you find here on This Life of Ours?! You’ll find our favourite meals -quick and easy because no one has time for anything more with an infant on the loose! You’ll find party inspo (one of my favorite things pre baby that I am slowly easing my way into!!) You’ll also find all sorts of fun mom content. From monthly updates to unfiltered reviews of our favourite products- there’s going to be so much info for you to go through!
Having run another blog for a few years, I’m well versed on the internet, IG and the general blogosphere. But this chapter is different for me. This chapter is way more personal. This life of mine- this crazy, messy, sleep deprived life I’m living. Well, I bet it looks a lot like yours. I bet you also have moments of pure baby bliss coupled with moments of stress and anxiety. I bet you wonder how you’re going to get dinner on the table, tackle some work AND play with your baby. I bet you wonder if you’re doing it all wrong.
Well my friends, you’re not. I’m not. None of us are! This life of ours is chaotic, it can be stressful but it can be oh so rewarding. I hope you enjoy following our favourites, our struggles and our happy times here in this little corner.
Not a mom? You don’t need to be one to be here! I’m a food lover and I am so happy to have an avenue to share my favourite easy recipes and meals. Cocktails, frozen summer treats, casserole dinners- you name it, I’m going to share it! I also adore a fun little ol’ dinner party so expect a whole lot of pretty coming your way as well!
