Scenes from last weekend when someone tried to eat

Scenes from last weekend when someone tried to eat both my birthday cakes 😂 Aren’s only been back in daycare since Monday but I already miss him so much! In the end we decided that he really needed the structure and activities that daycare provides for him- it was hard to keep him stimulated with a newborn at home. He is thriving there already, a far cry from last time- so we feel confident that we made the right choice 💗 #22monthsold

It’s a holiday here in Quebec today, so bring on all the rosé ASAP 😂 this week has been a big week for us- Shiraz has his first set of vaccines (cue mom tears), he also slept his first 5.5 hour chunk of sleep (cue happy tears 😂)- as for Mister Aren, well, we decided to send him back to daycare this week. Daycares here in Mtl have been open since June 1st and while we’ve had mixed reservations about it, we finally sent him back this week. So much to chat about re this topic- from weighing the pros and cons amidst covid 19 fears, to his reaction (you guys remember how his integration went the first time around 🤦🏻‍♀️) - I’ll share more on stories today but to keep it short, he LOVES daycare now- the time home did him good and I guess he’s just bored of hanging out with me and Shiraz because he was the happiest kid on the block- go figure!! Ps dreamy flowers from @aura_design as always 🙌🏼

It was a busy weekend over here- today we celebrat

It was a busy weekend over here- today we celebrated Father’s Day all day long with yummy food and time at the pool. And yesterday? Well I celebrated another trip around the sun! ⁣

Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with my boys. 36, I’m excited to get started - and yes, I did make Ara hang out in my pink patio corner all day long, pink stemware included. He was a gem and hung up my balloons even though the wind flung most of them away by the end of the day! #covidbirthday #thisis36

Happy Father’s Day to this guy! We love you to pieces and are thankful for all you do- from being in charge of bath time for both boys, taking Aren out to the park ALL THE TIME, always doing the dishes at the end of the night and making sure we have all we need, all the time- we love you! Ps sorry Shiraz, we haven’t taken newborn family pics yet so you’re going to have to wait till next year to be apart of the Father’s Day IG post!
